Hi, Friends! It's been a while, I know. I've been such a busy Chi. Most recently I got to go to Craven Farm with my family and some great new friends! Pumpkins all over! I wasn't allowed in the field though. Really, I wasn't supposed to be there at all. Mom just explains to people that I am part of the family too. She keeps me warm and in my stroller so people don't seem to mind when I tag along. We did a corn maze together, and carved pumpkins!!! I'm all ready for Halloween, too! I have a costume that allows me to wear a warm sweater under it..... gotta keep warm! Let's see if I win the costume contest. Until next time, Chuppie

Helping Furrytale Farm

Mom and Dad took me to a benefit for Furryfale farm yesterday. I got free doggie ice cream, a TON of treats..... and some professional pictures taken. It was a great day! My pictures will be ready in 2 weeks. I will post them when we get them!

More Hiking

Went hiking again today. We all traveled to Kelcema Lake and boy was I glad mom and dad got me that new jacket. I was so warm and very dry. It was so peaceful up there.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Hi, friends! I've been such a busy Chi. I've been hiking! Shopping! Went to a Doggie Festival. Had my nails clipped. Been to a BBQ.... I've been all over. After our hiking experience, mom and dad got me a new jacket. I'm so stylish! Even though I've been busy, I still have TONS of time for cuddles with my humans. I can't wait to see where they take me next.

Date Night

I had a date tonight. Her name is Zoe..... a beautiful, curvy Chi mix. We got a long soooo well. We shared my sweet potato chewies, cuddled on my bed and gave kisses to each other. We played hard together. I was so tired after she left. My new life is great! I have a wonderful family who loves me so much. Mom treats me like I am a real boy!

WHOO HOO!!!!! Life is great! This has been such a busy month for me. I got to go shopping for some new clothes. Mom and Dad took me to the Tulip Festival and to the Mount Vernon Street Fair. Wow! It was great. I've been going on walks everyday with Mom. Im getting more fit everyday. Lately, I've been doing a 2 mile loop with no problems! Sometimes I go faster than mom. LOL!

Stroller Time!

My stroller came today! Yippie! With the weather getting better here shortly, it is the perfect time for longer walks and nice, easy strolls!!!! I helped mom put the stroller together. She said it was not easy. Mom says we can try it out tomorrow morning before she goes to school.

Sleep

I LOVE my life. I really feel at home. Today I got (another) new bed AND a couch. My very own couch. Can you believe it?!?! I'm doing much better going outside to do my business. And mom told me that she just ordered a stroller for me. It's so cool! Now we can go for longer walks, and when I get tired, I can still be outside with my mom. I'm so happy that I'm so loved.

First Bath

I had my first bath today. It felt so good. Mom was so gentle. Dad helped too. I sure needed a bath after I helped my family outside with yardwork. They say I'm such a great helper. I've had such a busy weekend! I took a trip to Oak Harbor, and met a few new friends. I think my best friend is going to be the pit/lab mix across the street. He is so friendly. Now, I lay basking in the sun coming through the window on my freshly bathed coat. Life is good.

What a day! I was so motivated on my walk with mom today. There was a beautiful black girl poodle walking in front of me. We stoped to say hi. I really liked her. So after we parted ways I kept trying to catch up to her! I hope I see her again tomorrow. I also met the next-door neighbor dog. He seemed scared of me. I don't know why. I was my charming friendly self. Tomorrow, we get to go to the trail that leads to the park! I can't wait!

Mom took me to the vet toady. I loved seeing all
those girls! They went over my history, told my
mom how lucky she is that she has such a great
dog and clipped my nails. I was a little let down
when the scale said 7.45. 7.45!!!! Why me? But my mom made me feel better when we got home. We had great play time on the couch. She knows right where to rub my tummy. It was my first day being here without my mom and dad. I'm pretty sure that I spent most of the time in our bed! I love having them in the bed with me. I'm always rubbing my face on my moms face or laying against one of their legs. Bedtime might be my favorite time of the day.

Sunday 3-14

As today comes to an end, I am SOOOO tired. We walked a different side of the neighborhood today. My little legs got a workout! My mom cooked sweet potatoes today... they were so soft: just the way I like them. She cut them into small Chuppie sized pieces. I had one after I did my business outside (finally). Tomorrow I get to go and meet my new Vet. Nothing is wrong, we are just doing a well Dog exam. That way, IF anything does happen, they will already know how amazing I am. I have a feeling that my nail are gonna get clipped tomorrow, too. So off to cuddle-land I go. But I do want to give a shout out to all my friends at Furbaby... Miss you all!!

Chuppie

I hate to brag...

So I hate to brag, but the more and more I see how happy I make my mom and dad, the more I realize that I am an amazing Chi. They just love me so much. I get tons of love all day everyday. Mom loves to make me her special pint-sized helper and Dad always lets me snuggle in his sweatshirt on the couch. These last few days have been so busy. New trails, new friends...big friends!!!, shopping for me and tons of cuddles! I found another warm spot in the house.... right in front of the kitchen sink! I think I'm all settled in like a champ. Now I just have to grasp the concept that there is no doggie door.... yet. I got up in the middle of the night to look for it and it wasn't there.... and then..... well, I don't want to talk about it. I'm learning too, friends. Oh, and thanks to my good friend Angi!!!... I needed that reminder to take my collar off. I was just so overwhelmed with the new house I must have forgot. You're such a good friend!!!!

Friday 3-12

Friday Night was soooo much fun. I went with my mom and dad to watch RC racing. My dad is so fast! And those cars were just my size! During the day it was just me and mom.... I love cuddling her. I will go anywhere she goes. We went to Petsmart and she let me pick out my own brush. They really really love me. Mom says I'm the best helper in the world. Today, if the weather is good, mom says we can go to the doggy park at the other end of town. How cool is that????!!!!

WOW!!! My first night with my new family was GREAT! When we got home I got to sniff the entire house. I wasn't scared at all. Then dad and I took a nap together and my mom added videos to my facebook. Can you believe it?!?! I HAVE A FACEBOOK! So go find me... facebook.com/happy.chuppie. At bed time, the invited me right into the bed with them. I slept under the covers between my mom and dad. I feel so loved.
